So, who am I? ...
I'm a female. I read less than I want to and eat more than I need to. I sleep as much as I can. I take showers, go to work, and complain about my lack of money after I buy stuff I don't need. I work in a basement for 12 hours a day in a stressful job that I actually enjoy, but can be exhausting. I have the best dog in the world, though I may be biased. I spend too much money on lip glosses that I never fully use.
I also make art. For many different reasons, but mostly because I feel compelled to do so. Art is the source of my biggest joys and my most heartfelt insecurities and frustrations. Sometimes it's fun and frivolous and at other times it seems to wrench out my insides with a spoon... but I always remain compelled.
Art to me isn't just making pictures, it's more of a physical manifestation of thought processes. I speak the language that needs to come out at any given moment, whether its a laugh or a smile or a scream.
I work in a variety of media, because sometimes the idea dictates the media, and vice versa.
